Amanda Öman is a filmmaker, writer and content creator based in London. Her first music video, Not Enough For Us by Black City Lights premiered on Red Bull Sound Selects website, and the collaborative project, My Henry was selected for Toronto Short Film Festival 2016.
Upon graduating from Middlesex University, her university dissertation script won the graduation show screenwriting award and was a semi-finalist for the Southeastern International Film Festival 2016. Her latest short, Limbo is going through the festival circuit and has recently been selected for Nightpiece Film Festival 2017 (part of Edinburgh Fringe Fest). Currently, she is working on more short films, a debut feature, a television pilot and a webseries due out in 2018.
In 2016, she and Samara Addai officially formed the independent production company, To The Throne Pictures.
Amanda dabbles in photography, previously, taking amateur cinematic Instagram pictures on her Canon DSLR and iPhone during her travels and taking candids of friends. Moving over to an android (Pixel 2 XL) has allowed her to push her photography limits.
Since 2018 she has worked in content creation; working on branded and corporate content, editing and producing online videos and images. During the summer she started a YouTube channel called Pickletoobs wherein she and a friend make original content discussing TV shows, anime and games, with plans to develop a podcast.
